By accessing or using BurnLink you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These terms are governed by the principle of good faith — use this service only for lawful, ethical purposes.

1. The Service

BurnLink provides a platform for creating self-destructing, encrypted messages accessible via single-use links. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2. Acceptable Use & Good Faith

You agree to use BurnLink solely in good faith and for lawful purposes. You must not use this service to:

  • Transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Facilitate any criminal activity or encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offence
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, phishing content, or other malicious material
  • Violate the rights of any third party including intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or compromise the security of the service
  • Use the service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair its operation

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user found to be in violation of these terms, without notice and at our sole discretion.

3. No Liability for Misuse

BurnLink is a neutral infrastructure provider. The developers, operators, and affiliates of BurnLink bear no responsibility whatsoever for the content of messages transmitted through the platform or for any consequences arising from misuse of the service.

You, the user, assume full and sole legal responsibility for any content you create, transmit, or receive through BurnLink. We expressly disclaim liability for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service
  • Loss of data resulting from the intended destruction mechanism of the platform
  • Any harm caused by content transmitted by third parties through the service
  • Actions taken by users that violate applicable laws or these Terms
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BurnLink is provided without warranties of any kind — whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You use the service entirely at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the BurnLink platform, brand, and software are owned exclusively by BurnLink and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the service beyond the limited, revocable licence to use it in accordance with these Terms.

6. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting with an updated effective date. Your continued use of BurnLink following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
